I guess posting these sweet treats for Valentine’s Day a little late is better than never posting them at all. To help celebrate a day all about Love, I did a wide variety of desserts like chocolates, cake pops, cookies, cookies gift baskets, and chocolate covered strawberries. Ordered by the dozen or in gift boxes, these desserts stole everyone’s heart this Valentine’s Day.

Flirty Thirty was the theme for my latest event. The color theme was black, white, and many variations of the color pink. It was more of an eclectic feel, pulling together different patterns and fabrics. There was a martini bar set up as well as the dessert bar. It was such a fun and flirty theme.

As a thank you for all the hard work the parent helpers did in my mother’s classroom this past schoolyear, I made them a tasty dessert. Inside the terracotta pot is a white cake layered with fresh strawberries and buttercream icing. The flowers are sugar cookies decorated with royal icing.

Here is a close up… The grass is done with buttercream and a grass tip. I liked the look of this better than using oreo or graham crackers crumbs to resemble dirt.
